Ok, I'm not sure where to start.
I know, from the beginning.
A few months ago my mom had by-pass surgery done.
Everything with the surgery went fine, or so I was told.
Since then her health has been getting worse.
I didn't see it and niether did my sisters.
My mom wasn't exactly telling us all the truth.
She would have a hard time just walking across the room!
Anyways, last night she had to go to the emergency room.
I called to say hi wish her well but her voice was real scratchy.
This morning my little sister calls and tells me she just got off the phone with mom's doctor.
It seems she has multiple organ failure!!
She didn't tell me much due to the shock of this news.
Like I said, my mom hasn't been telling us everything.
The doctor also used the word 'grave' to describe her condition.
Needless to say I was nearly floored by all this.
So now I have to drive 500+ miles with my wife and 3 kids.
The kids seem to think we are going for a surprise visit.
We haven't told them the seriousness of this, I'm not exactly sure how to.
I don't know what to do right now but get ready for a trip.
So if you can spare something for my mom.
I'd appreciate that a whole bunch!
