Something Ive worked out over a bit of time, people who work in healing may find this somewhat helpful, or atleast adaptable.

Well..let me put it in terms of how its used. A friend once came to me, she was depressed as anything. Sobbing herself to sleep at night, even going so far as cutting. She begged me to do something "magical" to help her. I told her that magic doesnt really work like that, but I DID have something that may help. I gave her a small glass vial (Before you start laughing or yelling, read on) with some clear liquid in it. I told her to drink it, go home, and take a nap and that it would make her feel better. She drank it, hugged me, and went home. She called me two days later thanking me saying she felt much better.

Now let me share the ingredients of the liquid in the vial.

Powdered Sugar
Water

My point is that if a person thinks that something will help them, thier mind will supply that help. Thier mind unconsiously creates the effects they think what they are taking in. This is effective mostly in cases of things like minor physical ailments such as headaches, muscle pains etc and mild mental problems such as depression. Its basically harnessing the power of a "self-fulfilling prophecy". The person believes they will feel better because of the contents of the vial, but in fact its thier own mind that makes them feel better.

I have used this method several times, basically using sugar water, and Ive seen it help a great deal. Both in instances of physical pain or discomfort and mental distress.

Hope this helps :)

I think that is a really good idea. It's amazing how powerful the mind is if it feels it has the strength.

I forgot to add that I kinda think that it is magical to give someone a little vial and then they manage to sort themselves out. It might not be typical magic but I'm sure the intent was there so it all worked out.
