Well, it's been 8 years since I got him, and it looks as if his time is coming to an end. :(

He was my first pet, and although it's sad to see him passing, I hate to see him suffering. (he's very weak, and he can't even eat or drink, unless we force feed him)

He was always such an amazing pet. He used to jump up on my bed, cuddle next to me, and he even ate when we ate! He loved candy, and he was just the cutest thing ever! I'll never, ever forget him.

Please contribute any energy or prayers for my little bunny! I love him SO much!

x0x everyone.

I hope somehow that your pain is eased. Know that your bunny will be out of pain.
*wipes a tear* I hear the love that you two have shared. Sending energy for the both of you.

it's never easy to loose a pet, but it sounds like it's time for him to move on. i pray that his passing is peaceful, and that your heart heals quickly.-seeker

You guys are the best! Thanks for the support.

He passed away last night...he passed around the same time that I was born (time wise, not month wise)

Although I miss him, I'm SO glad that he's not in pain anymore. About a month ago his leg started to give out, and I thought he broke it, but I came to find out that when a rabbit is dying, his legs give out first. The thing that scared me the most was when he started screaming and gasping for breath. We all ran into the kitchen, and my dad calmed him down until he started breathing again, and his heartbeat returned to normal. I checked on him every 10 minutes, then the last time I went to check on him, he was still, eyes open, no heartbeat....he passed. That had to be the scariest sound I've ever heard in my life. However, before most rabbits die, that is the sound they make. (I never knew this, until the veternarian informed me.) We always tried to book vet appointments for him too, but they always told us that he was old, and that there was nothing we could do.

My mom and I had a good cry, but i'll always remember the memories of him and his cute, little antics! My dad wrapped him up in my baby blanket, and he buried him in the garden. In the spring/summer, I will plant a flower in that spot to remember him by.

Thanks everyone!

x0x & remember to hug and kiss your pets everyday! :hugz:

Hugs, luv, and understanding. I have lost a few special friends. Even now when I think back on the moments we shared together, it sometimes causes a tear or two to flow, but it also brings a smile.

I know how that is. My dog is 14, and she is ready to go. We got her 12 years ago, when I was 8. So, she's been with us for over half my life. Im so used to having her around, that I dunno what I'll do when she's gone. :awwman:
