Hello. I just started a web journal that might be of interest to some of you. I am trying to write about my life, my 'gift', and how i am learning to deal with it. It maybe really dull but it might be of help. I know i had been looking for something like this. I won't be offended if you hate it, i just got started!

I found this site and a couple others. Hope it's what you're looking for. http://www.geocities.com/christabelle67/TheUniversalEmpathIndex1.html

You should also check out the Empathic Bunker here in the Just Talk Forum. There are all kinds of people to talk to here.

Blessed Be!

gr8 link. Yep I am an empath. It comes from my mother's side. She has above average instincts/6th sense.

So many times I have had to leave a situation because the emotions where so overwhelming.

I am a male so I can hide my empathy quite well, but an extreme few females can pick up on my 'sensitive side'. grrrr lol

i female, not a teen, but anyway i am empath, but i hate touching people! i work with the public-good place huh?- and when i will had back the persons change, i feel their feelings, futures and advents that are happening in their life...
example: woman comes in to work right when she walks in i am hit with a wave of sadness and pain...physical and emtional...when she checks out i try not to touch her when handing back the change, no such luck... i am cold, no life in my body and cant see everything cause my site gone black. when she got her change and left i felt my self gasping for air and color and light fades back in and normal temp slowly returns to normal.
that was kind of hard to explain having to go outside in 104 heat to warm up... anyways does anyone have that ability as well?
