I have got an ouija board on e bay, Because i do like the way they look and i wanted to collect much older ones, And me and my husband decided to play it one night at first it didnt know how to spell good and it told us its name and some things but we didnt make it out we just wrote them down. Then after several days of playing everynight the board got better at spelling and it worked alot better and he would talk about eveything from old presidents to conspiracys and so many strange things and everything was fine and we never hardly play anymore simply because i dont have the time too? I was wondering if anyone has any info on this at all, And what should i do with the board?

Its interesting about how talkitive the board was. I say play it when you want but look after the board and keep it safe. In my very little experience spirits tend to get annoyed if their means of communication is damaged. Ouija boards can be great fun, just be careful.
Blessed be

I love ouiji boards, though it took me a long time to realize I could talk to spirits... before I just asked questions about the future. I agree with Silverwolfthorn, though. Take care of it and play whenever you want!!

If you have an extra couple of minutes, take it out and, try using the ouija board by yourself. You'll be surprised how well it can be then.

hi,
what I do is cast a circle of protection before I use my board and I ask that one of my guides to speak to me...forward the messages.
It works.
Try this: Surround your self with a circle of protection, ask that no evil or deceptive spirits be allowed to enter. Invision yourself surronded by a white light, then try the board by yourself. It may move slow at first, but as the energy starts to flow it will move. And don't forget that when your done say goodbye and thank you, then open/lift the circle of light..
AND LET US KNOW WHAT HAPPENS...
CJ
PS..sorry if I'm telling you something you know, I'm not trying to sound like a know it all...cause I dont..

I would give some stories, but I think I already have somewhere on MW. Anyhow, Just make sure you only want to talk to good or clean spirits the ones that do not wish to harm you, because I speak from experience- IT CAN HAPPEN...they really really can come over you and its really hard to get them to go back to where they came from so- just pleasssee take my advice on this.I am not sayin that its bad or w/e (I have used Ouija several times) - just..be cautious!

ouija boards are very interesting....at one point, a friend and I would use it and we great conversations with several spirits...then I brought out my grandmother's board, and it was nothing like the first board...it had a resident nasty that would not leave the board, even though we cleansed it and did a banishing over it...so I never used it again, and ended up burning the board so no one else would have to deal with it. However, I have wanted to make my own for a long time...just never got around to it.

For the oracle, you could use something as simple as a shot glass...or you could make something more ornate or original. It just needs to be able to move freely across the surface...

You know, I really don't believe that Oujia Boards are anything fantastic. They are a Parker Brothers game that you buy at Toys R Us, for crying in the night. Didn't they make Hungry Hungry Hippos and Operation? I don't know...
Okay, now I have to correct myself.... I am laughing so hard right now!
I'll get back to the point, I swear; but I have to share with you all what I just found out.
I decided to research what other games Parker Brothers really made (Clue, Risk, Monolopy, etc.) and learned on the History Channel website that George Parker was born in Salem, Massachusetts.
Okay, maybe I underestimated the power of the Parker Brothers. But isn't Salem synonimous for having witches? :rotfl: Too coincidental. So, I take back my earlier comment.
Anyway, the point of my post was to say that you CAN make a homemade Ouija Board with just a piece of paper and a pen. Has anyone else done this? I did this in Junior High school and it was really bizarre how they worked. There was something special in the way that the participants would hold the pen (it's so hard to explain without being able to SHOW the actual position of the hands holding the pen).
I used to experiment a bit with this during lunch at school with friends (real reverent, 'eh?). We blindfolded the two people holding the pen to make sure that they had NO idea what they were doing. Then we would create a RANDOM alphabet on a peice of paper AFTER the two pen-holders were blinfolded so that they would not see the placement of the letters and then I would ask the questions, since I had no control over the pen. It was SO creepy.
Sure, I was asking things like, "Who do I love?" But, it really did spell out "Johnny Depp"! HAHAAA! :rotfl: At the time, it was right! But anyway, I thought that was just too strange. Maybe I have powers of telekenisis and just don't realize it, but I thought it was very bizarre.
I've played with a Ouija Board once, but it wasn't as effective as the paper and pen method.

I've always wanted to try a Ouiji board..so I think I might..with my friend and her mom of course as they are experienced in this sort of thing.. but just wondering..after youve cast your protection circle etc.. what do you do/say to start communicating with someone?
and also..to the person who created this post..you talked about how it told you about consipiracys and presidents etc? was JFK;s assasination due to a conspiracy or was it just whats his face cant remember his name (sorry im not american).. but i DID do an essay on this and im very interested to know the truth:)
sorry for rambling

I've used a board once. I think we invited something in we shouldn't have. I threw the board out. But strange things kept happening. So I talked to this witch in Germany & he told me I didn't "close the board down". He claimed a negative spirit came through & was trying to mess with him while he was talking to me. There's a spell you should do to finish things on a good/positive note...so you don't leave any doors open. He taught it to me over the phone...I did what I was supposed to do...& it was like the air was lighter.
They're not a toy. I hope people leave 'em alone...especially when they don't know what they're doing like myself for instance. :hehehe:_travolta_
