Post First Ritual

Hello all ! I just completed my first ritual two days ago with instruction from the internet . I charged a doll during the waning moon. I had never done anything like this before. It felt very natural yet strange at the same time. I mixed several beliefs together along with my own input and what I wanted to accomplish. My attitude has been different ever since and I am drawn to the possibility of what I may be able to do in the future.

1) I received a binding ritual along with a doll that I purchased on the internet.
2) The items and wording of the ritual and spells were very foreign to me. I went back to the internet to learn about casting circles.
3) I set up my altar completely on my own according to what felt right, such as it facing West. I placed items by instinct.
4) I used a stick out of the yard for a wand as it had been in contact with the Earth.
5) I then said my own spells and also used the ones from the binding ritual.
Everything about it worked well ! I was completely focused !

Recharging Ritual

On Sept 17, 2005, I felt the "one once named" had either broken the spell or the spell had diminished, so on Sept 24, 2005, two months to the day, I held a recharging ritual. This time it was with more strict commands. Last night, Sept 26, 2005, I was in close proximity to the "one once named" and I was not talked to or looked at. There was absolutely no recognition whatsoever. Even others avoided me. Events had led me to believe that the spell had broken. But after the events of last night and insight today, I realized the spell was as strong as it ever was.

Congratulations! My first was my dedication and was powerful and hilarious at the same time. I made some mistakes, but all was well.

Congrats to You as well and darkmetal. Begining to do ritual work really seems to inspire people to do more and more until it seems it becomes a daily practice.( which is wonderful in my opinion) There is no reason why there can't be a little magic everyday in your life.
