A Carmalite Nun being interviewed
I found this amazing interview on youtube interviewing Sister Curshula of a New Zealand Carmalite Monastery. I was struck by just how down to earth she is and I definitely enjoyed watching, even though I am not Catholic!

![]() For a long time, I actually wanted to be a (cloistered) nun. The only issue is that I'm not Catholic and I'm not sure I could ever become one. I find Catholic spirituality as well as nuns to be fascinating, though.

Watching these clips makes me think of my late grandmother... She wanted to become a Carmelite when she was young. |

She's absolutely wonderful! I love her vocational story. I think you already know this Toby but if I wasn't in a relationship I'd be deeply contemplating the religious life.
She's radiant yet down-to-earth and her faith seems so profound in its simplicity.
