    I'd go nuts in that case! Carpal tunnel syndrome is *no* fun, believe me... I've had it for about 20 years now, even had the operations to "correct" it about 16 years ago, and it's back. Probably because I can't stay away from my desktop or laptop.

    I finally figured out a problem I had with one of the WIPs.... I couldn't figure out how to start off the story in the "present" so I decided to write the backstory first, and figure things out as I go. That's how I wrote my most recent finished draft - wrote the long, full version first, then rewrote it and compressed it into a regular length novel with hints to what happened "before". It turned out beautifully, or my current beta team think so anyway. :bigredgri
