    • I'm in a very fortunate position to rent a campsite at a Pagan campground in Ontario here. I have a largeish space where I have parked a Trailer, and have a good sized space for a deck and some grass. Very lovely trees surround us and before the winter set in and the camp was closed for the season, I started constructing spirit shrines outside. The concept is based on animist spirit shrines found in south east asia and Japan. And you know, when I posted it, the light was starting to dim and I happened to look up into the nearby bushes and I saw a shadowy shape move, about the same size as a cat but made from smoke. I took it as a sign the land spirits were happy with my work. This is one of them:

      मृत्योर्मामृतं गमय॥
ॐ Om Asatoma Sadgamaya, Tamasoma Jyoti Gamaya, Mrityoma Amritam Gamaya ॐ
