That's true - and I always forget about it! Right after I was born, I went through a Jewish naming ceremony, even though my parents had already decided that they weren't going to raise me Jewish and were going to call me by my English name. So I have this Hebrew name, but sometimes I go for years without even remembering I have it. When I do think of it, I always wish I could think of something to do with it. When I first started exploring Paganism, I thought of using it as my magical name, but that never felt right. I thought I'd use it as a pen name for my writing, but then I decided I was against pen names.

My wife and I are going to give it to our first-born daughter, should we have one. Hopefully she'll put it to better use than I have.
If you're lucky you'll find something that reflects you,
helps you feel your life protects you,
cradles you and connects you to everything.
