don't expect all pagans to view things and believe and practice the same, or more so..... agree. if you go into it thinking that'll happen and be so much different from christianity in that aspect, it's highly unlikely.

My first lesson in Witchcraft 101. Know Thyself. I know I'm using someone else's words, and I don't know who, but to know yourself is to know the way. Start with you. Learn who you are, what is important to you. What you believe. Then spend some time with that.

Also, don't be afraid of doing it wrong.

If it feels right to you, it probably is right for you.

Spend some time with the God/dess. What you don't know, he, she, it does.

        One from my Patron Loki:
"find a way to laugh at everything, most importantly yourself."

one from my mother that has helped me a lot:
"its ok to worry about things, some things need to be worried over, just don't let anything stress you out, there is a big difference."

        and Mine:
"Love with all of your heart and all of your soul. your family (even the ones you don't like or don't like you) your friends, the gods, your coworkers, strangers, everyone. you will be hurt, a lot and deeply and you will regret sometimes giving so much love to those who hurt you but the first time that you find someone who loves you back and says 'thank you' and truly means it... all of that hurt becomes worth it."
Side note: just because you love someone doesn't mean you need to give them everything and show them everything about yourself, always use common sense... just don't put up so many walls, because your so afraid, that you forget to live and love the world around you.

At some point I said that life should be more like, robocop riding a unicorn that happens to be defecating rainbows...

Well life just got a little bit better.

"Take a picture of an electron in one instant and again the next, it will have seen Andromeda, do the same for me, and I will have taken the same trip."

I continue to battle my word processor in hopes of producing something useful...

Your path will change over time. If if doesn't, that means you're not growing. Thank the old beliefs and practices that no longer serve you and release them with gratitude. Trying to hold on to them will only hold you back.
If you're lucky you'll find something that reflects you,
helps you feel your life protects you,
cradles you and connects you to everything.

No one can define what and who you are, that is for you to discover

                  ~AND~

ritual and magic are tools, like any other, to be used for dark purposes or light. Learn to use them well and wisely, but don't forget to do the work that goes along with it.

“I think witches, of all people, are attuned to the weird.
That's how we get our rep, I suppose.”

And also the flip side: "You are not wiser than anyone else is in what is holy for them." Actually, come to think of it, I know a few elders who need this advice!
