  • Pagan-specific Path Quiz

Lots of us have tried that popular quiz which asks theological and philosophical questions and then lists which religions (including Pagan ones) might be closest matches.

Well, there's a similar quiz, not as long, which is specifically designed for Pagans. The results it returns cover a variety of modern Pagan paths.

    Check it out at http://www.selectsmart.com/FREE/sele...agantraditions

It might give you some interesting suggestions for researching and expanding your own spiritual journey!

    My results were;
    1 Celtic Reconstructionism
    2 Finnish Paganism
    3 Old English Heathenry

Not really the result I expected but I'm not about to break my heart over it. Close enough I suppose.

How interesting, for the first three the bars are equal length:

My #1 is: Asatru (LOL, I really like Asatru, but I'm not a practitioner)
My #2 is: Hellenic (I don't know a thing about this one)
My #3 is: Celtic Reconstructionist (my primary patrons are Celtic)
My #4 is: Minoan (another one I have to read up on)

Basically what this is telling you (imo) is that you are attracted to the more Traditional Ancient religions and are more into research, complexity of pantheon, and orthopraxy as opposed to orthodoxy.

Now, I could be way off - I'm just making the jump because your first three are Recon religions.

Oooo, I never heard the word orthopraxy before, new word, thank you!! And after looking up the definition, yes, I am far more orthopraxic. Personal accountability and ethics is extremely important to me, so your assessment is very accurate.

This is how the tradition I belong to describes itself:

The form of Wicca that the Assembly practices is syncretic and draws inspiration from Astrology, Qabala, the Western Magickal Tradition and the folk religions of Europe.

We belong to our coven and our coven is a part of the Assembly but we are all encouraged to pursue our own practices (which is why I consider myself a pagan studying Wicca/Tantra and Qabala).

Wow, this is really interesting and fun. I honestly thought that after four years, my beliefs had changed immensely from what I was doing before.

I guess my beliefs just became more intensified. That's pretty cool.
